Renowned Malaysian artist, Lim Ah Cheng trained at the Malaysia School of Art and has established an international reputation for himself for his complex and dynamic depiction of galloping horses, a theme he has developed to much acclaim over many years. Lim's oeuvre is a fusion of traditional Eastern and Western semi-abstract styles and brilliantly executes it, evident through his works. The famed artist has participated in numerous solo shows across Malaysia and Singapore and at art fairs in China, Hong Kong, Rotterdam, and Singapore.

Adept in Chinese ink as with acrylic and oil, Lim brings life to the painting, 'Fighting for Future, inspired by the cockfight that dates back 6,000 years. Through this painting, the artist delivers a message of hope and perseverance for Malaysia to remain headstrong in competing in the realm of economy, financial education, and promoting human rights against other countries. There's much to decipher with Lim's work; while inspired by the ruthless game of cockfighting, it is at heart, nationalistic and is swathed in positive hopes for the future, to tread a better path for generations to come.
