About Fong Jialok
Fong Jia Lok was born in 1997, and currently lives and works in Kuala Lumpur. He graduated from the Fine Art department at Dasein Academy of Art in 2018. Passionate about painting and drawing, his figurative works explore his personal response to the condition of contemporary society. He is interested in using charcoal, pigment pen, and oil paint to produce his work. ‘The Tendencies of a Human Being’ is an exhibition that showcases a series of works by Fong Jia Lok. About the artwork
Fong Jia Lok is interested in using charcoal, pigment pen and oil paint to produce his work. He explores the condition of contemporary society and implements his personal response into his art. His works include seemingly similar tiny figures, symbolising the interaction between people, community and culture.
