Goh Lye Hock
Goh Lye Hock, 1963 born in Alor Star, graduated from Kuala Lumpur College of Art in 1985. His artworks involve realistic depiction of flora, fauna and human figure, utilizes acrylic as his main medium. The cracking effect in the background, which is rarely seen, makes the artwork unique and precious. Goh Lye Hock has taken part in exhibitions in various countries, including Singapore, Indonesia, The Philippines, China, Mongolia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and Japan. He was awarded the Young Contemporary Artists by National Art Gallery Malaysia in 1985 and Philip Morris Honourable Mention in 2003.
